Job Description and Responsibilities

The role of Assistant Manager – Back Office Operations involves a variety of critical operational tasks related to client account management, data updating, and coordination with internal and external teams. Detailed responsibilities include:

  • Updating UCC for existing client codes including modifications such as Address, Email, Mobile, Nominee, Income, Bank details, both in Front & Back Office systems.
  • Responding to all emails related to document teams concerning DP (Depository Participant) modification.
  • Handling call reverts for Team Leads (TL), Section Heads (SH), and Zonal Heads (ZH) related to DP and trading modifications.
  • Processing and updating REKYC cases including Email, Mobile, Income, Address, Closure, Bank, Nominee client profile, etc., and ensuring updates in Front & Back Office.
  • Activation of dormant accounts and resolving associated queries.
  • Handling account closure, transmission, transfer processes and updating related information in DP and Trading systems.
  • Preparation and reconciliation of daily Linking files and sending them to the Bank for linking purposes.
  • Managing POA (Power of Attorney) / DDPI linking in DP Backoffice system.
  • Coordinating with Bank of Baroda DP Team and Business Development Managers (BDMs) for account opening queries.
  • Coordinating with the NRI Branch for Portfolio Investment Scheme (PIS) account opening related queries.
  • Data entry in the Backoffice system after confirmation of Demat account opening by the BOB Demat team.
  • Generation of UCC and updating in exchanges for all offline clients.
  • Uploading client front office files to Trading Exchange after ensuring all criteria such as KRA, CKYC, and Linking are cleared.
  • Updating brokerage in Backoffice according to the applicable scheme.

Job Specific Skills and Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the Broking industry is mandatory.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Basic knowledge of document management laws and regulations.
  • Strong organizational skills and great attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong desire to learn.
  • Capability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Self-motivated and able to work well as a team player.

Educational Qualification

Graduate from recognized Universities in India.

Minimum Experience

3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
