Available Positions

The ARIAS Society invites applications for the following purely temporary contractual positions under the proposed ADB-financed Assam Sustainable Wetland and Integrated Fisheries Transformation (SWIFT) Project. Positions are located in the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and Cluster Project Implementation Units (CPIU) across different zones of Assam.

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in hydrological studies and water resources assessment, preferably focusing on wetland ecosystems or watershed management. Prior experience with ADB or other multilateral development bank (MDB) initiatives preferred. Basic knowledge of hydrological modeling tools such as SWAT, HEC-HMS. ₹6.60 to ₹10.80 lakh per year
2 Gender Specialist 1 (One) Project Implementation Unit (PIU), Directorate of Fisheries, Guwahati Masters/Postgraduate degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of substantive professional experience in mainstreaming gender at mid or senior level for ADB, World Bank, JICA, or other donor-financed projects in rural and remote areas. Fluency in English and ability to communicate in the local language required. Excellent cross-cultural and interpersonal skills with experience interacting with locals, Indigenous People, government officials, CBOs, and NGOs. ₹6.60 to ₹10.80 lakh per year
3 Livelihood Coordinator 5 (Five) Five Cluster Project Implementation Units (CPIUs) located at different zones of Assam Masters/Postgraduate degree in Livelihoods, Entrepreneurship Development, Food Security, Agriculture and allied subjects (Agricultural Extension), Agribusiness, Value Chain Development, Rural Development, Social Sciences, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of professional experience in promoting livelihood interventions including Skills Training, Micro-Lending, Employment Generation, Micro-Savings, Social Protection, and setup of Economic Cooperatives. Supplemental training in Income Generation/Entrepreneurship, Gender Analysis/Mainstreaming, and Microfinance preferred. Experience in ADB/World Bank donor-funded development programs will be an added advantage. ₹6.60 to ₹10.80 lakh per year

Employment Type and Contract Duration

The engagement is purely contractual for an initial period of 11 months, renewable based on performance and project requirements. This position does not confer any right of regularization under ARIAS Society.

Selection Process

  • Any false information or misrepresentation will result in immediate cancellation of candidature.

Remuneration Details

The Cost to Project (CTP) for each position will be fixed within the indicative range of ₹6.60 to ₹10.80 lakh per year based on performance in the selection process, relevant experience, and last drawn remuneration.

  • The ARIAS Society reserves the right to modify qualifications/experience requirements, number of positions, or cancel the recruitment at any stage without assigning any reason.
