Eligibility Criteria

  • Must be a citizen of India.
  • Must be of sound health and good character.
  • Must have served as an Ex-Service Person.
  • Must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak Telugu language.
  • Must qualify in the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) in terms of G.O.Ms.No.26, G.A. (Ser-B) Dept., Dated: 24.02.2023.

Reservation Details

Reservation to local candidates is applicable as per Article 371-D of the Constitution and G.O.Ms.No.674, G.A. (SPF-A) Department, dated 20.10.1975. The recruitment shall follow the Presidential Order, 1975 and related government amendments.

  • Local Reservation: 80% for local candidates and 20% open for both local and non-local candidates.
  • Ex-servicemen due for retirement within one year can apply as per Government of India instructions (Memo No.36034/02/1991-Estt. (SCT), Dated 03.04.1991 and Memo No.36034/03/2013-Estt. (Res.), Dated 25.02.2014).
  • Migrants from Telangana to Andhra Pradesh between 2nd June 2014 and 1st June 2024 are eligible to obtain local status certificates as per G.O. Ms. No.161, dated 27.12.2022.

  • Fee Exemption: Ex-Service Personnel are exempted from the Examination Fee (Rs. 80/-).
  • Correction Fee: Rs. 100/- per correction (Name, Fee, and Age relaxation fields cannot be modified).
  • Mode of Payment: Online via Net Banking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
  • Note: Fee once paid will not be refunded or adjusted under any circumstances. IPOs/Demand Drafts are not accepted.

Application Procedure

  1. Login to the APPSC website using your registered OTPR (One Time Profile Registration) number.
  2. If applying for the first time, register through the One Time Profile Registration system at psc.ap.gov.in.
  3. After login, click on “Online Application Submission” and select Notification No.29/2025.
  4. Fill in all required details, including Local/Non-local status, category details, and qualification information.
  5. Upload photograph and signature in JPG format as per instructions.
  6. Pay the prescribed fee through the online gateway.
  7. Click “Save & Submit” to complete submission. Partial submissions using “Save” will not be accepted as final.
  8. After submission, download and retain the filled application form for reference.
  9. Correction window will be available for 7 days after the last date of application.

  • Stage 1: Written Examination (Objective Type, Offline OMR mode)
  • Stage 2: Computer Proficiency Test (CPT)
  • Stage 3: Final selection based on merit in written exam and CPT.

Exam Centres

Candidates can choose up to three preferred examination centres. However, final allotment will be decided by the Commission depending on resources and availability.

Additional Information and Notes

  • The written examination will be conducted in English and translated into Telugu. The English version will be considered final for evaluation.
  • Use of electronic gadgets like mobile phones, calculators, smart watches, pendrives, or Bluetooth devices is strictly prohibited in the exam hall.
  • Candidates must create a DigiLocker account for digital certificate verification during the recruitment process.
  • Memorandum of Marks can be obtained after declaration of final results on payment of Rs.200 through IPO/DD to the Secretary, APPSC, Vijayawada.
  • Providing false information or suppressing facts can lead to disqualification and debarment up to five years from APPSC examinations.
