Note: In case of non-availability of EWS candidates, the post shall be filled under UR category. General category candidates can also apply against reserved posts but may be engaged for only 44 days if selected.

Eligibility Criteria

• A medical qualification included in the First/Second schedule/Part II of the third schedule of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
• Candidate must be registered with Central/State Medical Council.
• A postgraduate degree i.e., MD/MS/DNB in the specialty concerned or equivalent from a recognized University/Institute.
• Candidates must possess a valid pass certificate for the qualification as on the last date of application submission.
• Non-medical candidates (for departments like Anatomy, Biochemistry, Pharmacology): M.Sc./M. Biotech with Ph.D. in concerned/allied subject from recognized University/Institute.

Department Specific Qualifications: For Cardiology, Clinical Immunology, Medical Gastroenterology, Medical Oncology, and Nephrology, candidates must possess MD in Medicine. For Burns & Plastic Surgery, MS in General Surgery/ENT. For CTVS, Neurosurgery, Pediatrics Surgery, Surgical Gastroenterology, Surgical Oncology, Urology – MS in General Surgery and allied. For Neonatology – MD in Pediatrics. For Trauma & Emergency – MD in Medicine/MS in General Surgery & Orthopedics. For Pulmonary Medicine – MD in Chest & TB or MD in Medicine. For Endocrinology – MD in Medicine & Pediatrics.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 45 years as on the last date of application submission.

• No age relaxation for UR candidates.
• Age relaxations as per Government of India rules for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD categories on submission of valid proof.

Pay Scale

• For Medical Candidates (MD/MS/MCh): Level-11 in pay matrix with ₹67,700 + NPA + admissible allowances (as per Govt. of India rules at Bilaspur, H.P.).
• For Non-Medical Candidates (M.Sc. with Ph.D.): Level-10 in pay matrix with ₹56,100 + admissible allowances (NPA not applicable).

Reservation Details

The reservation for OBC/EWS/SC/ST candidates will be as per Central Government rules. 4% of posts are reserved for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) on a horizontal basis.

• OBC Candidates: OBC-NCL certificate should be issued on or after 01.04.2025.
• EWS Candidates: EWS certificate valid for FY 2025-26, issued on or after 01.04.2025.
• PwBD: Eligible categories include OA, OL, BL, OAL, CP, LC, Dw, AAV, SLD, MD (for non-surgical jobs).

Selection Process

The selection will be based on Walk-in-Interview at AIIMS Bilaspur.

• Venue: Administrative Block, 3rd Floor, AIIMS Bilaspur, Kothipura, Himachal Pradesh-174037
• Candidates must appear physically before the interview board (no online interview allowed).
• Document verification and screening before the interview.

Terms and Conditions

• Age and qualifications will be counted as on the last date of application submission.
• Only candidates declared successful in their qualifying exam on or before the crucial date will be eligible.
• Mere possession of qualification does not entitle a candidate for selection.
• Canvassing of any kind will lead to disqualification.
• Private practice of any type is strictly prohibited.
• Selected candidates may be required to work in shifts and can be posted anywhere in the Institute.
• The appointment is under Govt. of India’s Residency Scheme and can be terminated with one month’s notice or salary in lieu.
• Waitlist will be maintained for future vacancies.
• Selected candidates must be declared medically fit by a competent Medical Board.
• All disputes will be subject to Bilaspur, H.P. court jurisdiction.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
