₹2.5 lakh went with a box of gajak in Haldwani, police recovered the money

In Haldwani, Nainital district, the owner of Joshi Gajak Bhandar had kept ₹2.5 lakh in a box of gajak, which an employee accidentally handed over to a woman along with her purchase. Acting on the shopkeeper’s complaint, the police traced the woman and recovered the box containing the cash, which was later returned to the shopkeeper.
