सिक्किम का याकतेन गांव देश का पहला डिजिटल नोमेड गांव घोषित किया गया है। ‘नोमेड सिक्किम’ परियोजना के तहत गांव को हाई-स्पीड इंटरनेट और वाई-फाई से लैस किया गया है, जिससे अब लोग प्राकृतिक वातावरण में रहकर वर्क फ्रॉम होम कर सकते हैं। इस पहल से टूरिज्म को बढ़ावा मिलेगा और स्थानीय लोगों की आय व रोजगार के नए अवसर भी पैदा होंगे।

Yakten village in Sikkim has been declared the country's first digital nomad village. Under the 'Nomad Sikkim' project, the village has been equipped with high-speed internet and Wi-Fi, allowing people to work from home while staying amidst nature.  The initiative aims to boost tourism and create local employment.
