Villagers protest against auction of grazing land in Tehri, Uttarakhand

There was strong public anger in Ramgaon and Borgaon of Thouldhar block in Tehri district over the auction of grazing land. Villagers alleged that preparations are being made to auction common land that has been used for years as pasture for livestock, following which hundreds of people reached the collectorate and staged a protest.
