Uttarakhand resident Ajay Pant detained in UK, family demands safe return

Ajay Pant, a resident of Ramnagar in Nainital dist. and captain of an international cargo vessel, has been detained in the UK. He was the master of a tanker carrying Russian oil, which was intercepted in the English Channel by British security agencies for investigation, while his family has demanded his safe and early return to India.
