चमोली जिले के कर्णप्रयाग में पुलिस ने अवैध कीड़ा जड़ी की तस्करी करते हुए दो तस्करों को गिरफ्तार किया है। गौचर चौकी के पास चेकिंग के दौरान टाटा सूमो से 300 ग्राम प्रतिबंधित कीड़ा जड़ी बरामद हुई, जिसकी अंतरराष्ट्रीय बाजार में कीमत करीब ₹3 लाख है।

Police in Karnaprayag, Chamoli district, have arrested two smugglers involved in the illegal trade of 'Keeda Jadi'. During a routine check near Gauchar outpost, 300 grams of the banned herb were recovered from a Tata Sumo vehicle. The seized 'Keeda Jadi' is estimated to be worth around ₹3 lakh in the international market.
