जानकारी के अनुसार, टिहरी के प्रतापनगर क्षेत्र में टिपरी-मदन नेगी रोपवे पिछले छह माह का भुगतान न होने के कारण बंद हो गया है, जिससे ग्रामीणों को भारी दिक्कतों का सामना करना पड़ रहा है और जिला मुख्यालय तक पहुंचने के लिए करीब 50 किमी अतिरिक्त दूरी तय करनी पड़ रही है। वहीं, प्रशासन ने जल्द सेवा बहाल करने का आश्वासन दिया है।

According to report, the Tipri–Madan Negi ropeway in the Pratapnagar area of Tehri has been shut down due to non-payment for the past six months, causing major inconvenience to villagers. They now have to travel about 50 km extra to reach the headquarters. Meanwhile, the administration has assured that the service will be restored soon.
