खबर के अनुसार, गाजियाबाद के रहने वाले 31 वर्षीय हरीश राणा पिछले करीब 12 साल से गंभीर हालत में मेडिकल बेड पर पड़े हैं। बताया गया कि 2013 में एक हादसे के बाद से परिवार उनकी देखभाल कर रहा है और अब बेटे की लंबे समय से चली आ रही पीड़ा को देखते हुए माता-पिता ने कोर्ट से इच्छा मृत्यु की अनुमति मांगी, जिस पर सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अनुमति दे दी है।
