जानकारी के अनुसार, सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने यात्रियों की सुरक्षा को लेकर बड़ा फैसला सुनाते हुए सभी कैब और बस जैसे सार्वजनिक वाहनों में वीएलटीडी (व्हीकल लोकेशन ट्रैकिंग डिवाइस) और पैनिक बटन लगाना अनिवार्य कर दिया है। बताया गया कि बिना इन सुरक्षा उपकरणों के किसी भी वाहन को फिटनेस सर्टिफिकेट या परमिट नहीं दिया जाएगा।

According to reports, the Supreme Court has taken a major decision regarding passenger safety, making it mandatory to install VLTD (Vehicle Location Tracking Device) and panic buttons in all public vehicles such as cabs and buses. It was stated that no vehicle will be issued a fitness certificate or permit without these safety devices.
