खबर के अनुसार, नैनीताल के भीमताल क्षेत्र में पेयजल संकट को लेकर स्थानीय महिलाओं और जनप्रतिनिधियों ने विकास भवन के बाहर धरना प्रदर्शन किया। प्रदर्शनकारियों का कहना है कि पिछले कई दिनों से पानी की आपूर्ति बाधित है, लेकिन विभाग केवल आश्वासन दे रहा है और समस्या का समाधान नहीं हो रहा है, जिसके बाद उन्होंने आंदोलन तेज करने की चेतावनी दी है।
