खबर के अनुसार, देहरादून में पुराने वाहनों की फिटनेस जांच के नियम सख्त कर दिए गए हैं। अब 15 साल से पुराने वाहनों का री-रजिस्ट्रेशन ऑटोमेटेड फिटनेस टेस्टिंग सेंटर में होगा और मैनुअल जांच धीरे-धीरे खत्म कर दी जाएगी। इस कदम का उद्देश्य सड़क सुरक्षा बढ़ाना और प्रदूषण पर नियंत्रण करना है, जबकि अनफिट वाहनों को सड़क पर चलने से रोका जाएगा।
