खबर के अनुसार, टिहरी में उत्तराखंड राज्य आंदोलनकारी मंच ने देवभूमि परिवार कानून के विरोध में प्रदर्शन किया। आंदोलनकारियों ने 15 वर्ष की निवास अवधि वाले प्रावधान को वापस लेने की मांग करते हुए कहा कि इससे स्थानीय लोगों के हित प्रभावित होंगे। इसके साथ ही उन्होंने चेतावनी दी कि यदि मांगें नहीं मानी गईं तो आंदोलन को और तेज किया जाएगा।
