According to reports, in Rudrapur, Uttarakhand, the municipal corporation has banned open slaughter during Bakrid. It has been stated that slaughtering will be prohibited on roads, public places, and near religious sites, while legal action will be taken against violators, and sacrifices will be allowed only at designated locations.
