Route clearing work intensified ahead of Hemkund Sahib pilgrimage

According to report, the portals of Hemkund Sahib will be opened for devotees on May 23, and the administration, police and Army are engaged in preparations for the pilgrimage. Meanwhile, about 5 km of the route from Govindghat to Hemkund Sahib is covered with snow and glaciers, which is being cleared by Army personnel and sevadars.
