Prisoners escape amid Nepal unrest, tightened security at India-Nepal Border

During the violent protests in Nepal, several prisoners escaped from jails and attempted to infiltrate into India. The SSB deployed at the border arrested many of them who were trying to enter without valid identification. In view of the situation, security agencies have intensified surveillance and tightened checks along the border.
