जानकारी के अनुसार, पश्चिम बंगाल में ओबीसी आरक्षण को लेकर बड़ा बदलाव किया गया है, जहां इसे 17 प्रतिशत से घटाकर 7 प्रतिशत कर दिया गया है और मुस्लिम ओबीसी कैटेगरी (10 प्रतिशत आरक्षण) को भी खत्म कर दिया गया है। इसके साथ ही लाभार्थी योजनाओं में भी फर्जी और अपात्र लोगों के नाम हटाने की प्रक्रिया शुरू की गई है।

According to reports, a major change has been made in OBC reservation in West Bengal, where it has been reduced from 17% to 7%, and the Muslim OBC category (10% reservation) has also been abolished.
