तुर्की के इस्तांबुल में पाकिस्तान और अफगानिस्तान के बीच सीमा पर आतंकवाद रोकने को लेकर शांति वार्ता चल रही थी, लेकिन इसी दौरान दोनों देशों के बीच भीषण गोलीबारी भड़क उठी। इस गोलीबारी में पाकिस्तानी सेना के पाँच जवान मारे गए, जबकि पाकिस्तान का दावा है कि कई तालिबान लड़ाके भी ढेर हुए।
