Giant flying squirrel spotted in Uttarakhand's Ramnagar after 12 years

The Indian giant flying squirrel has been spotted in Ramnagar after nearly 12 years, and the Forest Department has rescued the animal. The squirrel can glide from one tree to another 60 to 80 metres. Meanwhile, its presence is being seen as a sign of rich biodiversity and a healthy ecosystem in Corbett and the surrounding forests.
