E85 fuel launched in India, set to boost energy self-reliance
According to information, the Government of India has launched E85 fuel, which consists of 85% ethanol and 15% petrol, and can be used only in flex-fuel vehicles. It has been stated that this fuel is cheaper than petrol and a more environmentally friendly option, while the initiative is expected to reduce dependence on oil imports.
