बिहार के मुख्यमंत्री नीतीश कुमार ने घोषणा की है कि बिहार पत्रकार सम्मान पेंशन को ₹6,000 से बढ़ाकर ₹15,000 प्रति माह किया जाएगा। साथ ही पेंशनधारी पत्रकार की मृत्यु होने पर उनके आश्रित पति/पत्नी को ₹3,000 की बजाय ₹10,000 मासिक पेंशन देने का निर्णय भी लिया गया है।
