Barren land in Uttarakhand’s Bageshwar to become a hub for fruit production

The Horticulture Department has started a cluster-based fruit belt scheme in Bageshwar dist to make barren land cultivable. Under this initiative, fruit-bearing plants will be planted in migration-affected villages, and technical assistance will be provided to villagers, aiming to increase farmers’ income and promote reverse migration.
