खबर के अनुसार, बद्रीनाथ के विधायक लखपत बुटोला ने मंदिर में चढ़ावे की रकम में कथित गड़बड़ी के विरोध में मंगलवार को उपवास शुरू किया है। उन्होंने मामले की उच्च स्तरीय जांच और दोषियों पर सख्त कार्रवाई की मांग की है, जबकि जांच एजेंसियां 40 दिनों की सीसीटीवी फुटेज की जांच कर मामले की पड़ताल कर रही हैं।
