Baba Kedarnath’s sacred staff and crown safe, reports of them missing misleading

According to reports, there was a stir after news spread that Baba Kedarnath’s sacred silver staff (Roopchhadi) and crown had gone missing before the opening of the Kedarnath temple gates. However, the Badrinath–Kedarnath Temple Committee clarified that the staff and crown are kept safely at the Omkareshwar Temple in Ukhimath.
