जानकारी के अनुसार, असम सरकार ने अवैध घुसपैठ पर रोक लगाने के लिए बड़ा कदम उठाते हुए 18 वर्ष से अधिक आयु के लोगों को नए आधार कार्ड जारी करने पर रोक लगाने का फैसला किया है। बताया गया कि इस कदम से फर्जी पहचान और अवैध प्रवासियों को आधार प्राप्त करने से रोका जा सकेगा, जबकि बच्चों और कुछ विशेष समुदायों को इससे छूट दी गई है।

According to reports, the Assam government has decided to stop issuing new Aadhaar cards to individuals above 18 years of age to curb illegal infiltration. This move would help prevent fake identities and illegal immigrants from obtaining Aadhaar cards, while children and certain communities have been exempted from the restriction.
