खबर के अनुसार, उत्तराखंड के अल्मोड़ा में बिजली विभाग ने ‘‘स्मार्ट मीटर पखवाड़ा’’ शुरू किया है, जो 15 दिन चलेगा। बताया गया कि कैंप लगाकर लोगों को स्मार्ट मीटर और ऐप के फीचर्स बताए जाएंगे, जिससे उपभोक्ता अपनी बिजली खपत और बिल की जानकारी मोबाइल पर देख सकेंगे। वहीं, विभाग के अनुसार जिले में 22 हजार से ज्यादा स्मार्ट मीटर लग चुके हैं।
