दिनांक 18.03.2023 को ग्राम बेड़ा मझेड़ा कपकोट में श्री नवीन चंद्र भट्ट के मकान में आग लगी थी। आग अत्यधिक फैल चुकी थी जिसमें 02 मवेशी की जलने से मौत हो चुकी थी। फायर यूनिट कपकोट द्वारा बड़ी मशक्कत के उपरान्त आग पर काबू पाया और आग को पूर्ण रूप से बुझाया गया व आग को अन्य क्षेत्र में फैलने से रोका गया।
