जनपद चमोली के कर्णप्रयाग में तैनात कांस्टेबल विनोद पंवार द्वारा पिंडर नदी के किनारे छलांग लगाने पहुंची दो युवतियों को  अपनी जान जोखिम में डालते हुए सूझबूझ व तत्परता से दोनों युवतियों को वक़्त रहते कूदने से पहले पकड़ लिया व घाट पर सही सलामत ले आये।

नदी में छलांग लगाती दो युवतियों की सेकंड भर के अंदर कांस्टेबल विनोद ने वक़्त रहते बचाई जान।

While risking his life, constable Vinod Panwar posted in Karnprayag of Chamoli district caught both the girls before jumping on time and brought them safely to the ghat.

Within seconds of two girls jumping into the river, constable Vinod saved his life in time.
