The lady constable Kavita on duty in the Gangotri Dham temple complex was found lying purse in the line of duty, which belonged to Mrs. Latha Ji, a resident of Kerala, in which there were cash and gold chains of Rs 45,000, while constable Sanjay Chauhan, cash of Rs 6500, 01 mobile. The purse of the female devotee Orissa was received along with the reservation and other necessary documents. After searching the passengers by the soldiers, the purse was safely handed over to them.
