Project Information

The recruitment is for the NTPC-NETRA funded research project titled “AI-Driven Robotic System for Recognition and Intelligent Segregation of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) Using Industry 4.0 Technologies (AI-SEG)”. The positions are strictly temporary and contractual in nature and are co-terminus with the project duration.

Post Details and Remuneration

Project Associate-II	01	₹35,000 + HRA for candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC / ICAR / ICMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE, or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments such as DBT/DST or equivalent agencies. ₹28,000 + HRA for candidates not covered under the above category.
Project Associate-I	02	₹31,000 + HRA for candidates qualified in CSIR-UGC / ICAR / SMR NET (including lectureship/assistant professorship) or GATE, or national-level examinations conducted by Central Government departments such as DBT/DST or equivalent agencies. ₹25,000 + HRA for candidates not covered under the above category.

Eligibility Criteria

For Project Associate-II

Master’s / Integrated Master’s degree in Engineering or Technology from a recognized university in Electronics, Computer Science, or Robotics.
Proficiency in FANUC programming or ROS is preferred.
OR a minimum of 2 years of experience in Research and Development in industrial or academic institutions, science and technology organizations, or scientific activities and services.

For Project Associate-I

B.E./B.Tech or M.Sc in Electronics, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
Mandatory knowledge of Python, PyTorch/TensorFlow, and Computer Vision.
OR any equivalent qualification duly recognized by the competent authority as per the functional requirement of the project, to be recorded in writing by the Principal Investigator and Director.
