Eligibility Criteria

Nationality: Only Indian Nationals are eligible.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technology with minimum 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA 6.5/10) in respective discipline as listed below.

• Electronics & Communication Engineering or related disciplines with “Electronics” as core subject.
• Computer Science and Information Technology or related fields with “Computer Science” as main discipline.
• Data Science and Artificial Intelligence or allied specialization with AI/ML/DS focus.

Valid GATE Papers:

Age Limit

Maximum age 30 years as on 31 October 2025.

Maximum upper age including all relaxations shall not exceed 56 years.

Reservation & Relaxation

Reservations for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), PwBD and Ex-Servicemen categories are applicable as per Government of India norms. Relaxation in qualifying marks (5%) available for SC/ST/PwBD where posts are reserved.

PwBD candidates with 40% or above disability are eligible. Horizontal reservation applies.

Salary and Allowances

Basic Pay: ₹56,100/- (Level 10 of 7th CPC)

• Dearness Allowance (DA): 58% of basic pay
• Transport Allowance, HRA, LTA, Medical Benefits (CSMA/CGHS)
• Employer NPS Contribution: 14% (Basic + DA)
• Gratuity, Pension under NPS, and Post-Retirement Medical Benefits
• Children Education Allowance, Newspaper & Telephone Reimbursement

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting based on valid GATE 2023/2024/2025 score.
2. Document Verification of shortlisted candidates.
3. Personal Interview at TRAI HQ, New Delhi.
4. Final Merit: 80% GATE Score + 20% Interview.

Interview can be conducted in English or Hindi. TA reimbursement (3rd AC fare) is provided for outstation candidates.
