Eligibility Criteria

Must be an Indian citizen and permanent resident of Assam.
Must speak Assamese or any state-recognized language.
Must be registered in Assam Employment Exchange.

Educational Qualification

Sub Inspector (UB) & Assistant Jailor	Graduate in Arts/Science/Commerce from a recognized university.
Station Officer / Squad Commander	B.Sc. with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics from a recognized institution.
Sub Inspector (Communication)	B.Sc. (Electronics/IT/CS) or 3-year Diploma (Electronics/IT/Telecom/Computer Science) with 2 years experience or MCA/B.E./B.Tech in related field.

Reservation Details

Reservation is applicable as per Government of Assam rules for UR, OBC/MOBC, SC, ST(P), ST(H), and Tea Tribes & Adivasi communities.

Selection Process

Written Test – 100 marks with ½ mark negative marking for each wrong answer.
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) – 40 marks.
Physical Standard Test (PST) – Qualifying in nature.
Viva-Voce – 5 marks.
NCC Weightage – up to 5 marks.

Total Marks: 150 marks (Written + PET + Viva + NCC)

Final appointment subject to satisfactory police verification and medical examination.
