Remuneration and Working Hours

• Remuneration: ₹1,000 per hour (fixed for the full 3-year contract)
• Additional Allowances:
  • ₹1,000 per month as conveyance allowance
  • ₹1,000 per month as mobile phone allowance
• Duty Hours: 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday
• No additional benefits such as PF, pension, gratuity, or leave entitlement are applicable.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Applicant must hold an MBBS degree (Allopathic system) from a university recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
2. A postgraduate degree in General Medicine is also eligible and preferred.
3. Minimum of two (2) years of experience practicing medicine in any hospital, clinic, or medical institution.
4. The applicant’s clinic or residence should be located within a 3–5 km radius of the RBI Agartala office.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting of candidates based on eligibility criteria decided by the Bank.
2. Interview of shortlisted candidates conducted by the Reserve Bank of India.
3. After the interview, shortlisted candidates must undergo a medical test at their own cost.
4. Final appointment will be subject to:
   • Medical fitness confirmation
   • Acceptance of the Terms & Conditions (Annex-I)
   • Acceptance of the Code of Conduct (Annex-II)
   • Execution of a formal contract with the Bank

Other Important Information

• The contract period is three (3) years from the date of engagement and is not renewable.
• The Bank reserves the right to increase the duty hours up to a maximum of 30 hours per week if required.
• No benefits such as Provident Fund, Pension, Gratuity, or Leave will be provided.
• Income tax will be deducted at source as per prevailing rates.
• The contract may be terminated by giving three months’ notice or three months’ remuneration on either side.
• In case of gross misconduct, the contract may be terminated with only ten (10) days’ notice.
