Essential Qualification

Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences / MVSc.
OR Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Technology / Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent.
AND four years of experience in Research and Development in Industrial or Academic Institutions, or in Science and Technology Organizations and Scientific activities and services.
OR Doctoral Degree in Science / Engineering / Technology / Pharma / MD / MS from a recognized University or equivalent.

Desirable Qualification

Experience in the field of virology and working under BSL3 virology laboratory conditions.
Experience in influenza biology and performing virology assays (HAI, MN, ELLA, etc.).
Candidates having experience in genomics (NGS, RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, single cell RNA-seq, etc.) may also be considered.
Ability to design analysis pipelines and work collaboratively in a wet lab environment.
Candidates who have submitted or are writing their PhD thesis and are awaiting viva are also encouraged to apply.

Job Description and Desired Knowledge

The Senior Project Associate will perform experiments related to the project’s objectives, including immunogenicity and efficacy studies of flu vaccine candidates in the NHP-ABSL3 facility. The role includes conducting viral assays such as HAI, MN, and ELLA. Candidates with bioinformatics expertise will analyze genomics and proteomics data generated during the project.
