Base Salary

As per Pay Level 7 of the 7th Central Pay Commission (₹44,900 – ₹1,42,400 per month with admissible allowances).

Eligibility Criteria

  • Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University/Institute.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as Personal Assistant in Level 6 OR 5 years as Stenographer in Level 4 or above in Govt./PSU/University/Autonomous Body/Private Organization of repute.
  • Proficiency in English/Hindi Stenography: 120 wpm (English) or 100 wpm (Hindi).
  • Typing Speed: 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi).
  • Knowledge of Computer Applications is mandatory.
  • Desirable: Good communication skills and proficiency in English/Hindi.

Skill Test Norms on Computer

  • Dictation: 10 minutes @120 wpm (English) / 100 wpm (Hindi)
  • Transcription: 50 minutes (English) / 60 minutes (Hindi)

Age Limit and Relaxation

The maximum age limit for this post is 35 years. Age relaxation will be applicable as per Central Government norms for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/PwBD/Ex-servicemen and other eligible categories. Employees serving under Central/State/Autonomous institutions for three years or more will get up to 5 years relaxation. Contractual/ad-hoc employees with one year or more service in University/Colleges are also eligible for one-time relaxation.

Reservation and Category Certificates

Candidates must upload valid caste/category certificates as per Central Government norms.

  • OBC (NCL): Certificate must be valid for 2024–25 (issued between 01.04.2024 to 31.03.2025). It must confirm the candidate is not part of the Creamy Layer.
  • EWS: Income & Assets Certificate issued by competent authority on or before the last application date, but not earlier than 01.04.2024.
  • PWD: Disability not less than 40% with a valid certificate.

Selection Process

The selection process will involve a Recruitment Examination followed by Skill Test or Interview as applicable. Selection will be strictly merit-based after document verification. Appearing in the test does not guarantee selection. No TA/DA will be paid for attending written or skill tests.
