Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Full-time Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with not less than 60% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized University/Institute approved by AICTE/UGC.
• Post Qualification Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical Construction, Procurement, Installation, Testing, and Commissioning/TRD Maintenance in Railways, Metro Rail, or Power Transmission/Distribution utilities.
• Preferred Experience: Experience in Railway OHE, Power Supply, SCADA, E&M, and Electrical Utility Diversion.
• Note: Teaching, training, consultancy, or freelancing experience will not be treated as relevant.

Application Process

Candidates must apply offline in the prescribed format only. The filled application should be neatly typed on A-4 size paper and sent to the address below along with copies of all required documents.

Documents to be Attached:

• Experience certificates (chronological order)
• Last two months’ salary slips (for current employment)
• Date of Birth proof (10th/Matric certificate)
• Caste/EWS certificate (as per GoI format)
• Degree/Diploma and all semester mark sheets
• Proof of CGPA-to-percentage conversion if applicable

Selection Process

• Selection will be through a Written Exam and/or Interview of shortlisted candidates.
• Shortlisted candidates’ list will be displayed on the IRCON website.
• Interview call letters will be sent via email only.

Medical Standards

• Candidates must be in sound health and free from color blindness.
• No relaxation in health standards will be allowed.

Reservation Details

Certificates should be issued in the prescribed format as per Government of India guidelines (Annexure-A for OBC provided).

Service Terms & Benefits

• Contract period initially 2 years, extendable by 1 year based on performance.
• Medical Health Insurance of ₹3,00,000 for self (premium up to ₹4,000 reimbursable).
• Provident Fund: Minimum PF as per EPF & MP Act 1952 with matching contribution by IRCON.
• Leave: One leave per month; no leave encashment allowed.
• TA/DA admissible for official outstation duty.
• Weekly off and public holidays as per project office schedule.
• No other allowances, perks, or benefits beyond those mentioned.

Additional Conditions

• The appointment is co-terminus with the project and does not confer any right for regular absorption in IRCON.
• All submitted information will be verified with original documents during the interview.
• Any false or misleading information will result in cancellation of candidature.
• Ex-contract IRCON employees may apply if eligible; appointment will be treated as fresh employment.
