Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Diploma in Chemical / Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering (as per post)
• B.Sc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics or Industrial Chemistry (for specified posts)
• Boiler Competency Certificate or National Apprenticeship Certificate required for P&U posts
• Fire & Safety post requires Sub-Officers Course from NFSC and valid Heavy Vehicle Driving License

Minimum Marks Requirement

• General / EWS / OBC (NCL): 50%
• SC / ST / PwBD: 45%

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age (UR/EWS): 26 Years
• SC/ST Relaxation: 5 Years
• OBC (NCL) Relaxation: 3 Years
• PwBD Relaxation: Up to 10 Years
• Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules

Reservation Details

Reservation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (Non-Creamy Layer), Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India norms. PwBD and Ex-Servicemen reservations are applied horizontally.

2. Skill / Proficiency / Physical Test (SPPT) – Qualifying in nature
3. Final Merit List based on CBT marks (Refinery-wise)

Medical & Physical Standards

Candidates must meet IndianOil’s Pre-Employment Medical Standards. For Fire & Safety posts, detailed height, chest, weight, vision and physical fitness standards apply. Medical examination will be conducted only at IOCL-designated hospitals.
