Eligibility Criteria

Gender: Unmarried Male and Female candidates only.

Date of Birth: Between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).

Upper Age Limit: 21 years on the date of enrolment.

Educational Qualification

• For Science Subjects: 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, and English with 50% aggregate and 50% marks in English OR 3-year Diploma in relevant Engineering disciplines OR 2-year Vocational Course with Physics and Math and 50% aggregate & 50% in English.
• For Other Than Science Subjects: 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate & 50% marks in English OR 2-year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate & 50% in English.

Medical and Physical Standards

• Height: Minimum 152 cm (Male/Female); 147 cm for hilly regions of Uttarakhand; 150 cm for Lakshadweep.
• Chest: 77 cm minimum (Male) with 5 cm expansion.
• Vision: 6/12 each eye, correctable to 6/6 (Colour Vision: CP-II).
• Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
• Pregnancy: Female candidates should not be pregnant during the engagement period.

Age Limit

Candidates must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both inclusive). The upper age limit as of the date of enrolment should not exceed 21 years.

Reservation and Domicile

• Permanent Domicile: Proof required via certificate issued by Revenue Department officer.
• COAFP-I: Children of serving Air Force personnel (officers/airmen/civilians paid from defense estimates).
• COAFP-II: Children of retired/discharged/deceased Air Force personnel residing in the respective districts.

Selection Process

1. Phase I – Online Test: Objective type, bilingual (English & Hindi), negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
2. Phase II – Physical Fitness and Adaptability Tests: 1.6 km run, push-ups, sit-ups, squats, Adaptability Test-I & II.
3. Phase III – Medical Examination: Conducted by Air Force Medical Team as per standards. Appeal Medical Board available with ₹40/- fee via e-MRO.
4. Provisional Select List (PSL): Based on normalized marks and merit.
5. Enrolment: Subject to medical fitness, vacancy, and eligibility.

Salary, Allowances, and Benefits

Seva Nidhi Package: ₹10.04 lakhs (approx., excluding interest)

Insurance Cover: ₹48 lakhs (non-contributory)

Other Benefits: Risk & hardship allowances, ration, clothing, accommodation, and LTC as per IAF rules.
