Eligibility Criteria

Project Assistant

  • Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in Life Science or other relevant disciplines.
  • Desirable Qualification: Knowledge of laboratory techniques for plant propagation, biochemical and biological investigation, and mass-scale cultivation.

Data Entry Operator

  • Essential Qualification: Graduate degree in any relevant discipline from a recognized university.
  • Desirable Qualifications: Certificate or diploma in computer/data management, proficiency in MS Office, quick and accurate typing speed, experience in data entry and management, good comprehension and communication skills.

Field Assistant

  • Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Desirable Qualification: Experience and interest in field surveying, field equipment, hydrological instrumentation, hydrological data collection and analysis, and computer data entry.

Job Responsibilities

Project Assistant

  • Plant collection from forest sites across the Himalayan region.
  • Development of germplasm repositories and field nurseries.
  • Propagation protocol development.
  • Chemical analysis of medicinal plants.
  • Promotion and mobilization of communities for medicinal plant cultivation.
  • Data analysis and report preparation.

Data Entry Operator

  • Systematic entry of data collected from field sites and laboratory analysis.
  • Managing project data files, databases, and related information.
  • Data recording and data management.
  • Assisting the project team in various project activities.
  • Travelling to Sikkim, Ladakh, Uttarakhand, and Arunachal Pradesh as required.

Field Assistant

  • Assistance in field instrumentation, regular monitoring, and surveys at gauging sites in the Teesta River.
  • Data collection, downloading, and data entry.
  • Ensuring safety and maintenance of equipment in remote locations.
