Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be retired government engineers who held equivalent or superior posts at the time of retirement as mentioned below.

Educational Qualification

Experience

Preference will be given to retired Government Engineers having experience in building construction and maintenance works.

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 64 years as on 12.12.2025 (last date of submission of application).
• Employment extendable yearly based on satisfactory performance up to the maximum age of 65 years.

Nature of Engagement

The employment will be purely contractual in nature for one year, which can be extended annually based on satisfactory performance up to the age of 65 years.

Remuneration and Benefits

For retired employees from pensionable Government Employment, the admissible amount will be computed by deducting the pension amount from the last drawn salary.

For retired employees from non-pensionable Government/Semi-Government employment (such as PSUs or Autonomous Bodies), the full consolidated monthly remuneration will be applicable.

Additionally, they will be entitled to TA/DA for tours undertaken for official work at rates applicable to regular AE/JE employees.

Leave Eligibility

Selected candidates will be entitled to one day of leave for every completed month of service, in addition to holidays of ESIC Corporation. No other paid leave will be admissible.

Important Instructions and Notes

1. Candidates must carry original certificates of educational qualification, experience, testimonials, PPO (if applicable), along with self-attested copies.
2. Two recent passport-size photographs must be brought to the interview.
3. Candidates must present valid government-issued photo ID (Aadhar Card, Election ID, Passport, or Driving License).
4. The competent authority reserves the right to reject any application without assigning reasons.
5. Selected candidates shall produce a Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Government Civil Surgeon before joining.
6. Selected candidates must sign an agreement as per ESIC Headquarters Letter No. Pt.PS/SE-V/Staff Matter/2013-PMD dated 08.03.2018.
