Eligibility Criteria

For Nurse / Male Nurse

• Candidate must be a qualified Nurse with GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Candidate should be willing to undergo training as decided by the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment (MSJ&E).
• Minimum 2 years of experience of working in Hospitals, Health Care Centres, or De-addiction Centres is mandatory.

For Chowkidar

• Candidate must have passed Class 10th.
• Experience of working in Hospitals, Health Care Centres, or De-addiction Centres is required.
• Preference will be given to Ex-servicemen (Army personnel).

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 45 Years
• Age will be calculated as on 31 December 2025.
• Age relaxation is applicable only if supported by valid certificates.

Application Process

1. Candidates must apply offline using the prescribed application format.
2. Separate application formats are provided as Annexure-I (Nurse / Male Nurse) and Annexure-II (Chowkidar).
3. Application must be submitted along with self-attested copies of educational qualification certificates and experience certificates.
4. Demand Draft of ₹200/- must be attached with the application.
5. Application should reach the office of the Secretary, District Red Cross Society, Kangra at Dharamshala on or before 05 January 2026 up to 5:00 PM.
6. Incomplete applications or applications received after the due date will be rejected.

Selection Process

For Nurse / Male Nurse

• Merit list of 75 marks will be prepared based on percentage of marks in GNM or B.Sc. Nursing.
• Additional 5 marks will be awarded to B.Sc. Nursing candidates.
• Top ten candidates will be shortlisted for interview.
• Interview carries 25 marks.
• Additional experience beyond minimum 2 years will be awarded 5 marks per year (maximum 20 marks).
• Total marks: 100. Candidate securing highest marks will be selected.

For Chowkidar

• Merit list of 85 marks will be prepared based on percentage of marks in Class 10th.
• Additional 15 marks will be awarded based on parameters mentioned in Annexure-III.
• Candidates securing first and second rank in the merit list will be selected.
• Preference will be given to Ex-servicemen.

Reservation and Weightage Details

Terms and Conditions

• Appointments are purely temporary and contractual, initially for one year.
• Services may be extended based on performance review.
• The scheme is grant-in-aid based and services may be terminated if the scheme is closed.
• No regularization of posts will be considered in future.
• No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
• The recruiting authority reserves the right to cancel or modify the recruitment process at any stage.
