Eligibility and Experience Details

Terms and Conditions of Engagement

Engagement is purely temporary and does not guarantee permanent employment with DGFT or any Government Department.
Working hours shall normally be from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM during working days with half-hour lunch break.
In case of exigencies, Young Professionals may be required to work late or on weekends/holidays.
Leave entitlement: 1.5 days per month; unavailed leave cannot be carried forward to the next year.
Leave without pay up to one month may be granted with approval. Women professionals are eligible for maternity leave as per the Maternity Benefit (Amendment) Act, 2017.
Young Professionals will be governed by the Official Secrets Act, 1923, and shall not disclose any confidential information to unauthorized persons.
A Non-Disclosure and Non-Compete Agreement must be signed on a ₹10 stamp paper at the time of joining.
Police verification report and a medical-cum-fitness certificate must be submitted before joining.
Engagement may be terminated by either side with 30 days’ notice or salary in lieu thereof.
In case of misconduct, poor performance, or conflict of interest, the engagement can be terminated without notice or compensation.
No compensation or appointment shall be provided in the event of death, injury, or illness during the tenure.
Young Professionals may be required to travel anywhere in India; TA/DA admissible as per Assistant Section Officer norms.

Additional Notes

The period of engagement shall commence from the date of joining.
False or incorrect information in application will result in termination and legal action.
DGFT reserves the right to terminate services at any stage in case of unsatisfactory performance.
Young Professionals must maintain integrity, high moral character, and dedication to work at all times.
