Eligibility Criteria

All candidates must be Indian citizens and meet the educational and age criteria as of 22 December 2025.

Post Essential Qualification Age Limit
Assistant Secretary Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institution. Maximum 35 years
Assistant Professor & Assistant Director (All streams) Post-Graduate Degree (minimum 55%) with relaxation for reserved categories. Desirable: B.Ed/M.Ed, NET/SLET/NET-JRF, Ph.D. Maximum 30 years
Accounts Officer Bachelor’s/Master’s in Commerce/Finance/Accounts or MBA (Finance)/CA/ICWA/SAS/JAO. Maximum 35 years
Superintendent Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of MS Office and computer applications. Maximum 30 years
Junior Translation Officer Master’s in Hindi or English with translation diploma/certificate or 3 years’ experience in translation. Maximum 30 years
Junior Accountant 12th Class with subjects like Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Commerce, or related. Typing: 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi). Maximum 27 years
Junior Assistant 12th Class or equivalent qualification. Typing: 35 wpm (English) or 30 wpm (Hindi). Maximum 27 years

Age Relaxation

  • SC/ST: 5 years
  • OBC (NCL): 3 years
  • PwBD (UR): 10 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • Women: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: As per Government of India rules (5 years for Group A).
  • Departmental Candidates (CBSE Employees): No upper age bar.

Reservation Policy

Reservation is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (NCL), EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen categories as per Government of India norms. PwBD categories include OA, OL, BL, LV, HH, CP, LC, Dw, AAV, and other benchmark disabilities with 40% or more disability as per the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

Selection Process

  • Group A: Tier-1 (MCQ) → Tier-2 (Objective + Descriptive) → Interview.
  • Group B/C: Tier-1 (MCQ) → Tier-2 (Objective/Descriptive) + Typing/Skill Test (Qualifying).
  • Evaluation: Final merit based on Tier-2 and Interview marks (where applicable).
  • Negative Marking: +3 for correct, -1 for wrong answer in Tier-1.
