Central Bank of India Recruitment 2025–26 – Counsellor (Financial Literacy Centre)

Central Bank of India Samajik Utthan Avam Prashikshan Sansthan (CBI-SUAPS), a society sponsored by Central Bank of India, has released a recruitment notification for the engagement of Counsellors for Financial Literacy Centres on a contractual basis for the year 2025-26. Salary Details

Monthly Salary	₹25,000 per month
Conveyance Allowance	₹1,000 per month including mobile expenses
Other Benefits	No other benefits, allowances or reimbursements are payable.
Vehicle Allowance	No diem allowances or reimbursement will be paid where vehicle is provided.

Contract Period

The candidate will be appointed on a contract basis for a period of one year.
Contract renewal may be considered at the sole discretion of the bank.
Renewal is subject to performance evaluation as per bank policies.
Performance appraisal must be submitted one month before contract expiry.
Renewal will also depend on the minimum “B” grading of RSETI centre based on Government of India parameters.

Health Requirement	The candidate must be in good health.

Educational Qualification

Essential Qualification: Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university.
Desirable Qualification: Computer literacy with basic knowledge of MS Office.
Ability to use the internet and type in the local language.
Excellent communication skills in the local language are essential.

Experience Requirement

Retired or VRS opted bank officials of Scale-I and above from Nationalized Banks including State Bank of India and Regional Rural Banks are preferred.
Ex-servicemen and other professionals such as government school teachers having banking knowledge and knowledge of financial services may also apply.
Candidates having completed relevant IIBF certification courses related to financial services will be considered.
Minimum 10 years of experience as an officer or permanent employee is required.
The candidate must have an unblemished service record and provide a service certificate from the previous employer.
Applicants should be residents of the same state and preferably from the same or nearby district of the Financial Literacy Centre.

Leave Policy

Selected candidates will be entitled to 15 days of leave per year.
Maximum leave allowed is 2 days per month.

Job Responsibilities

Work as Counsellor for Financial Literacy Centres.
Oversee and manage the overall functioning of the Financial Literacy Centre.
Conduct financial literacy awareness programs.
Promote banking awareness among rural populations.
Assist rural communities in understanding financial services and inclusion programs.

Selection Process

Eligible candidates will be called for a Personal Interview. The decision of the bank in the selection process will be final.
