Pay Scale and Allowances

• Pay Level: Level-3 (as per 7th CPC Pay Matrix)
• Basic Pay: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month
• Allowances: House Rent Allowance (HRA), Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA) and other central government admissible benefits.

Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Indian (Male & Female)
• Sports Eligibility: Meritorious sports persons who are medal winners or position holders in recognized national or international sports events as per BSF eligibility standards.
• Physical and Medical Standards: Must meet BSF physical and medical standards as prescribed in the detailed notification.

Age Limit

Candidates should meet the age criteria as per BSF recruitment rules. Age relaxations for SC/ST/OBC and Sports persons will be applicable as per Government of India guidelines.

Reservation Details

Reservations will be applicable as per Government of India rules for SC, ST, OBC, and EWS categories. The gender and sport-wise distribution of vacancies is defined in the official notification. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease based on the requirements of the BSF.
