Application Process

3. Complete the online registration and application form.
4. Upload required educational and category documents.
5. Pay the application fee online (Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking).
6. Submit the final form before 25 November 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess the minimum educational qualification of Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board or institution as of the last date of application. The qualification must be issued by a board established under the Government of India or the Government of Bihar.

• Minimum Qualification: Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent
• Technical Qualification: Knowledge of computer operation and typing in Hindi and English.
• Desirable Skills: MS-Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet proficiency.

Candidates must possess all required qualifications and certificates before submitting the online application. Those awaiting results will not be eligible.

Age Limit

The age limit is determined as per the rules of the Government of Bihar. Relaxation applies to reserved categories as indicated below.

Reservation Details

Reservation benefits will be provided strictly according to the current reservation rules of the Government of Bihar. Only permanent residents (domiciles) of Bihar are eligible for reservation benefits.

• Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) – as per rules.
• Extremely Backward Class (EBC) and Backward Class (BC) – as per rules.
• Women – 35 % horizontal reservation (only for Bihar domicile females).
• Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) – 4 % horizontal reservation.
• Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) – 10 % reservation (on valid income & asset certificate).
• Freedom Fighter Descendants – 2 % horizontal reservation (for grandchildren of recognized freedom fighters).
• Transgender Candidates – entitled to reservation under Backward Class category.

Selection Process

1. Preliminary Examination – Objective type paper.
2. Main Examination – Objective or Descriptive (as per post requirement).
3. Typing / Skill Test – For clerical and typing posts only.
4. Document Verification – Verification of educational and category certificates.
5. Final Merit List – Based on overall performance and reservation criteria.

The Commission will conduct the recruitment process in multiple stages. Only qualified candidates in the preliminary stage will be eligible to appear in the main examination.

Additional Important Information

• Vacancies are provisional and may increase or decrease before examination depending on departmental requirements.
• Only Bihar domicile candidates can claim reservation benefits; out-of-state candidates will be treated under the unreserved category.
• Candidates who applied under the earlier advertisement (02/23) are automatically considered for 02/23 (A) and need not apply again.
• Contract employees may receive bonus marks for service experience as per Bihar Government Resolution dated 28 July 2022.
• Persons with Disabilities must possess certificates issued by a Government Medical College Hospital in Bihar.
• All eligibility conditions (including age and qualification) must be fulfilled by the closing date of application.
• All uploaded certificates will be verified during the document verification stage. Failure to present original documents will lead to rejection.
