AIIMS New Delhi Recruitment 2025 – Research Project Posts

Project Information

The recruitment is being conducted for the research project titled “AI-Driven Scaffold Hopping to Optimize DNA Gyrase Inhibitors for Combating Multidrug-Resistance (AMR)”. The project focuses on advanced molecular biology, computational drug discovery, enzymatic inhibition assays, and experimental research to address antimicrobial resistance.

Available Posts and Eligibility Details

Post 1: Project Research Scientist – III (Non-Medical)

Essential Qualification	Ph.D. degree in Biophysics / Medical Physics / Life Sciences OR Postgraduate degree in basic sciences (Biophysics, Medical Biophysics, Life Sciences / Biotechnology) with 3–5 years post-PhD experience.
Experience Required	Hands-on experience in molecular biology, computational-based drug discovery, in-vivo enzymatic inhibition assays, and performance-based assays.
Desirable Qualification	At least two first-author research publications in areas of interest in JCI indexed journals or PubMed.
Age Limit	Maximum 40 years. Age relaxation applicable as per ICMR / AIIMS rules.
Salary	₹78,000/- plus HRA (consolidated).

Post 2: Project Research Scientist – I

Essential Qualification	M.Sc. in Biophysics, Medical Biophysics, Pharmacology, Biotechnology, or any field of Life Sciences. Ph.D. preferred involving in-vivo mouse studies.
Experience Required	Proven expertise in animal experimentation using bacterial or tumor infection models, skilled in human and bacterial cell culture techniques, and ability to work collaboratively across institutions.
Desirable Qualification	Experience handling drug-induced infection or tumor models, knowledge of PK/PD modeling, behavioral or kinetic studies, experience in BSL-2 laboratory environments, and ability to manage multi-institutional research projects.
Age Limit	Up to 35 years.
Salary	₹56,000/- plus 30% HRA (consolidated).

Post 3: Project Technical Support – II

Essential Qualification	Three-year graduate degree in Biology or related subject/field.
Job Specifications	Experience in buffer/media preparation, sample collection and storage, sterilization procedures, autoclave operation, and managing multi-institutional samples.
