Location Details

Base Salary and Employment Type

• Deputy Director General / Director: ₹2,10,000/- fixed (with additional allowance for some posts).
• Assistant Director General: Pay Level 14 (₹1,44,200 – ₹2,18,200) with rationalized entry pay of ₹1,44,200/-.
• Employment Type: Tenure basis for 5 years.

Applications must be submitted online only through the ASRB-OASIS portal. No other mode of application is allowed.

• Candidates who applied earlier under Advertisement No. 01/2025 (07.02.2025) must apply afresh, but need not pay the fee again if proof of earlier payment is attached.
• Required documents include: Date of Birth proof, Doctoral Degree, Appointment Orders, NOC (for in-service candidates), Caste/Category certificates (for SC/ST/Divyang), etc.
• Application fee to be paid through Bharatkosh portal.

Eligibility Criteria

• Doctoral degree in Agricultural Sciences or relevant Basic Sciences with specified post-Ph.D. experience.
• 5–10 years’ experience in Principal Scientist/Professor or equivalent positions depending on the post.
• Eminent Scientist category: National/International awards, Fellowships, NAAS-rated publications, and experience in leading projects at National/International level.

Age Limit

Maximum 60 years as on 10.03.2025.

Reservation Details

Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Divyang categories and women are encouraged to apply. Application fee exemption applies to these categories.

Selection Process

Applications will be screened based on eligibility, qualifications, and experience. Shortlisted candidates will be called for personal interviews. No travel allowance will be provided. The Board’s decision on eligibility is final.
